Over the past day, the invading Russian army lost at least 1,140 soldiers in the war in Ukraine. Ukrainian soldiers destroyed a Russian aircraft and a helicopter

The total combat losses of the Russian Federation from 24.02.22 to 08.08.24 are estimated to be:

artillery systems - 16,487 (+36)
MLRS - 1,142 (+4)
air defense systems - 914 (+4)
aircraft - 366 (+1)
helicopters - 327 (+1)
UAVs of operational and tactical level - 13,293 (+81),
cruise missiles - 2,424 (+3),
ships/boats - 28 (+0)
submarines - 1 (+0)
motor vehicles and fuel tankers - 22,285 (+59)
special equipment - 2,767 (+8).

Since the beginning of the day on August 7, 68 combat clashes have taken place at the front. Near the border of the Sumy region, Russians increased their aviation activity and the intensity of hostilities increased.
