Russia loses 1,140 soldiers, aircraft, helicopter in one day of war in Ukraine

The total combat losses of the Russian Federation from 24.02.22 to 08.08.24 are estimated to be:

• personnel - about 587,510 (+1,140) 
• tanks - 8,431 (+2) 
• armored combat vehicles - 16,332(+9)
• artillery systems - 16,487 (+36) 
• MLRS - 1,142 (+4) 
• air defense systems - 914 (+4)
• aircraft - 366 (+1) 
• helicopters - 327 (+1) 
• UAVs of operational and tactical level - 13,293 (+81),
• cruise missiles - 2,424 (+3),
• ships/boats - 28 (+0) 
• submarines - 1 (+0) 
• motor vehicles and fuel tankers - 22,285 (+59)
• special equipment - 2,767 (+8).

Since the beginning of the day on August 7, 68 combat clashes have taken place at the front. Near the border of the Sumy region, Russians increased their aviation activity and the intensity of hostilities increased.
