Russia launches drones, missiles at Ukraine, killing man, injuring child in Dnipropetrovsk region

Attack on Dnipropetrovsk region

At 3:41 a.m., the head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration, Serhiy Lysak, reported that Russian forces attacked civilian infrastructure in the town of Kamianske. 

The Russian attack drones hit a nine-story building, and apartments are burning. There are also three victims, including a child. 

At 7:30 a.m., Lysak said that rescuers had extinguished the fire in two apartments in a nine-story building in Kamianske. In total, 3 apartment buildings and 6 cars were damaged. 

“Unfortunately, a man died. Four people were injured. An 11-year-old girl and three women, one of whom is in a serious condition,” added the head of the Regional Military Administration.

Dniprovskyi district 

According to Serhiy Lysak, a man was wounded in the Russian attack in Dniprovskyi district and several fires broke out. Businesses were damaged and an unused building was destroyed.

Synelnykivskyi district 

In the evening, the Russian army reportedly attacked the Mezhivska community of Synelnykivskyi district with FPV drones. A man was injured there. Fires broke out. In particular, the fire destroyed an excavator.

Nikopol district 

In the morning, the enemy hit Marhanets community in Nikopol district with a kamikaze drone. There were no casualties. 

Consequences of strike on Poltava region

Last night, the Russian aggressor attacked the Poltava region once again. The Regional Military Administration reported that as a result of the fall of UAV debris in Myrhorod district, the roofs and window glazing of three private houses and four outbuildings were damaged. 

Three people sought medical attention for acute stress reaction. They refused to be hospitalized.

In addition, 11 settlements in Dykanka, Zinkivska, Lokhvytsia and Lubenska communities were left without electricity due to the weather. Specialists are already working to restore power supply.

Attack on Kropyvnytskyi

At 00:38, Suspilne reported the sounds of explosions in Kropyvnytskyi. 

At 1:34 a.m., the head of the Kirovohrad Regional Military Administration, Andriy Raikovych, wrote that Kropyvnytskyi was under Russian attack. 

“As of now, we have information about destroyed warehouses. Rescuers are working. According to preliminary information, everyone is alive,” he said. 

At 3:01 a.m., Raikovych reported that a drone had damaged a mobile phone tower in the Lypniazka community of Novoukrainka district. 

In the morning, the State Emergency Service of Ukraine showed the consequences of the Russian attack on Kropyvnytskyi. They clarified that civilian infrastructure in one of the districts of the regional center was destroyed. Offices and warehouses were damaged.

Explosions in Kharkiv 

At 6:06 a.m., Kharkiv Mayor Ihor Terekhov reported several explosions in Kharkiv and noted that the city was under attack by UAVs. 

A few minutes later, it was reported that one of the strikes had hit the Shevchenkivskyi district of the city, and smoke was seen at the site of the hit.

As of 6:25 a.m., the head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, Oleh Syniehubov, said that according to preliminary data, the Russian drone hit a roadway in the Shevchenkivskyi district of Kharkiv. 

“There is no information about the victims at the moment. Specialized services are on their way to the site of the hit,” added the head of the Regional Military Administration.

According to Ihor Terekhov, the drone landed near a high-rise building.

“Balconies were damaged and windows were smashed. The inspection of the impact site is ongoing,” he said.  

Later, Ihor Terekhov reported that a child was injured as a result of the fall of the enemy drone fragments. According to preliminary reports, she has an acubarotrauma. Doctors are providing her with medical aid. 

At 8:13 a.m., Oleh Syniehubov clarified that a 14-year-old boy was injured in the shelling of Kharkiv. He has an acute stress reaction. 

Consequences of Russian attack in Kyiv region

According to the Kyiv Military Administration, air defense was operating in the region, and Russian targets were shot down. There were no casualties among the population. There were no hits to critical information infrastructure.

In Boryspil district, 5 private houses and a car were damaged as a result of Russian attack.
