Ukraine reports 101 frontline clashes amid heavy Russian assaults in Pokrovsk sector

The Ukrainian Armed Forces' General Staff reported the information.

Since the start of the day, 101 combat engagements have occurred along the front line. Ukrainian defenders are stopping the enemy, holding the lines, and disrupting Russia’s plans.

Throughout the day, the enemy carried out artillery shelling from Russian territory on settlements in the Sumy region, including Hirky, Shalyhyne, Stepok, Studenok, Khliborob, and Maryine; as well as Tymofiivka and Lemishchyne in Kharkiv Oblast.

Frontline situation

In the Sumy and Kursk directions, Ukrainian defenders repelled ten enemy attacks, and three more engagements are still ongoing. The enemy carried out four airstrikes, dropping six guided aerial bombs, and launched 177 artillery attacks, including four from multiple launch rocket systems.

In the Kharkiv direction, no combat engagements have taken place since the beginning of the day.

In the Kupiansk direction, Ukrainian troops repelled two attacks near Holubivka and Zelenyi Hai.

In the Lyman direction, there were sixteen combat engagements near the settlements of Novyi Myr, Karpivka, Kolodiazi, Yampilivka, Torske, and in the direction of Serebrianka, Serednie, Shandryholove, and Hryhorivka. Seven battles are still ongoing.

In the Siversk direction, the Russian enemy attacked Ukrainian positions twice near Serebrianka.

In the Kramatorsk direction, the Russian enemy launched six attacks near Bila Hora and toward Predtechyne. One battle is still ongoing.

In the Toretsk direction, the Russian enemy attacked eight times near Dyliivka, Romanivka, Oleksandro-Kalynove, and toward Katerynivka and Pleshchiivka. Two engagements are ongoing.

In the Pokrovsk direction, 29 clashes of varying intensity took place today near the settlements of Udachne, Novoekonomichne, Lysivka, Zvirkove, and toward Novoukrainka, Pokrovsk, Dachne, Myrnohrad, and Maiak. Two battles are still ongoing.

In the Novopavlivka direction, the Russian aggressor tried to advance nine times near the settlements of Zirka, Piddubne, Myrne, and Dachne, and toward Oleksandrohrad and Voskresenka. Five battles are still ongoing.

In the Huliaipole direction, the Russian enemy did not conduct any offensive actions.

In the Orikhiv direction, the Russian troops attempted to advance three times toward Ukrainian positions near Kamianske. Additionally, enemy aircraft struck the settlement of Stepnohirsk.

In the Prydniprovskyi direction, one battle took place with enemy forces attacking toward the settlement of Prydniprovske. The enemy did not succeed.

Ukrainian forces continue to exhaust the enemy along the entire line of contact and in rear areas.

• In the Pokrovsk sector, the highest level of Russian activity continues to be observed. Meanwhile, Russian forces are spreading false information about the “beginning of active assaults” on Pokrovsk and have stepped up sabotage and reconnaissance group activity, as recently reported by the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
