Russia implements creeping offensive tactics - military expert Zgurets
Serhiy Zgurets, Defense Express CEO and military expert, says that the invading Russian army is trying to implement a slow offensive tactic along the entire frontline
He said this on Espreso TV.
"The enemy has been on the offensive since October 2023. This is the next phase of the offensive. Now the Russians are trying to use their advantage in manpower to advance on the front every day. Accordingly, the length of the front has increased and exceeds 930 km. It seems that the invaders want to make the most of the window of opportunity that was caused by the delay in the supply of American military aid to Ukraine," explained Zgurets.
According to the analyst, Russia is trying to push the Ukrainian defense with artillery and manpower.
"In general, the Russians continue to implement a strategy of a creeping offensive. In particular, they are trying to push our defense with artillery and manpower. That is why, according to military experts and the military-political leadership of Ukraine, it is an extremely difficult period at the front. However, as the head of Ukraine's Defence Intelligence Kyrylo Budanov noted, there will be no armageddon at the front. I don't know what meaning Budanov puts into this word, but I understand that in any case our troops will hold the line," he added.
- On June 25, Ukraine's General Staff reported that the Russian army had lost at least 1,100 soldiers over the past day. In addition, Ukrainian defenders eliminated dozens of units of Russian equipment.
