It marks the first such public statement from the Russian side—previously, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov ruled out the possibility.
“If a political decision is made by the country's leadership, we are ready to discuss this with the American side,” Likhachov said on April 30.
- Russians intend to release propaganda video segments to convince the international community that the occupied Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant (ZNPP) allegedly belongs to Russia historically.
