Hit in Kharkiv

At 11:38 p.m., Kharkiv Mayor Ihor Terekhov reported that a drone had been spotted in the city on the border of Kyivskyi and Saltivskyi districts. A fire broke out at the site of the hit. Later, Terekhov clarified that the drone hit a gas station in the Kyivskyi district.

At 1:54 a.m., Suspilne reported a series of explosions in Kharkiv.

“According to preliminary data, the enemy hit the Kyivskyi district of Kharkiv with a Molniya UAV. A fire broke out. Emergency services are working at the scene. At the moment, there are no reports of casualties,” said the head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, Oleh Syniehubov, at 2:01 a.m.

Explosions in Odesa

At 11:54 p.m., Odesa Mayor Hennadiy Trukhanov reported that explosions were heard in the city. At 00:20, Trukhanov wrote again about the explosions in Odesa.

Soon after, he informed that as a result of the Russian attack, drones had recorded many damages to civilian infrastructure, including residential buildings. Fires broke out in some places where the attacks occurred.

Around three in the morning, Trukhanov reported on the consequences of the Russian drone attack. “Residential buildings and civilian infrastructure were damaged in various districts of Odesa. Fires were reported, and a school suffered minor damage - four windows were smashed.

Three people have already been hospitalized.

“An elderly couple who lived on the top floor of the house with their sheepdog Jack has not been in touch. Their children reported no contact,” the mayor said.

Oleh Kiper, head of the Odesa Regional Military Administration, said that as of 3:12 a.m., two people were killed and five wounded.

“Residential high-rise buildings, private houses, a supermarket, a school and cars were damaged as a result of the Russian attack," he said.

In the morning, the State Emergency Service reported that the number of victims had increased to 15. Two people were also killed.

Residential high-rise buildings, private houses, a supermarket, a school and cars were damaged. In one of the high-rise buildings, rescuers, together with the cooperation services, evacuated more than 200 people.

Serhiy Bratchuk, spokesman for the Ukrainian Volunteer Army, told Espreso about the consequences of the Russian attacks on Odesa. According to him, first the city came under a massive attack by the Shaheds, and in the morning the Russians used ballistic missiles.

“There was more than one attack, at first it was a Shahed attack, a very massive one, the Russian tactics are unchanged, they gather at sea, then attack as many targets as possible, which were, of course, determined in advance. We say again today that Russian terrorism needs no explanation, Russian terrorists must be destroyed... Then the enemy again attacked the Odesa region with ballistic missiles from the territory of the temporarily occupied Crimea. First, there was one attack, and then in the morning, traditionally.... closer to 6 o'clock, the Russians attacked again with Iskander-M ballistic missiles, with a cluster warhead. It is clear why cluster munitions are used, to maximize the damage to the area. So, in fact, Odesa has experienced two Shahed waves today, and therefore two ballistic waves. They are currently calculating what was shot down and destroyed. But I repeat: the attack was indeed massive,” Bratchuk said.

Railway infrastructure in Odesa region comes under Russian fire

According to Ukrzaliznytsia, there were no casualties at the workplace, but the Russian attack on Odesa claimed the life of a railroad worker in his home.

“One of the sections was damaged: the tracks, the contact network, and three freight cars were damaged. Passenger trains are running on schedule,” the company said.

They added that the railroaders are carrying out operational restoration work to ensure that freight trains run to ports without interference. Currently, they are following an alternative route.

Air defense operations in Kyiv region

At 00:44, the Kyiv Regional Military Administration reported that air defense was working in the region. A minute later, the head of the Kyiv City Military Administration, Tymur Tkachenko, wrote that air defense was also activated in Kyiv.

Explosions in Sumy region

At 3:20 a.m., the head of the Sumy Regional Military Administration, Artem Kobzar, reported that about 8 explosions had occurred in one of the starosta districts. There were also reports of a fire.

Shortly afterward, Kobzar said that one of the attacks was on an industrial facility.

At 4:20 a.m., the head of the Sumy Regional Military Administration said that the Russians had attacked industrial enterprises in one of the starosta districts with Shaheds.

“All relevant services are working at the scene. According to preliminary information, there are no injured or dead,” he added.
