The press service of the Odesa Regional Prosecutor's Office reported this.

It is noted that on April 12, a 56-year-old man died in hospital. Thus, the death toll has risen to 6.

"Unfortunately, a man who was seriously injured died in hospital today. Thus, the death toll increased to 5 people," the statement said.

Later, the head of the Odesa Regional State Administration, Oleh Kiper, wrote that April 12 was declared a day of mourning in the region.

On April 10, the prosecutor's office reported that the attack killed 4 people, including a 10-year-old girl, and injured 14 others, who were hospitalized.

The head of the Odesa Regional Military Administration, Oleh Kiper, spoke about the condition of the victims.

"As of 21:40, we know about 14 victims of the evening Russian missile attack on Odesa district. Four of them are in serious condition, doctors are fighting for their lives, five are in moderate condition and five others have light injuries. A 4-year-old girl is also among the injured, with a shrapnel wound to her back and contusion. She is in hospital under medical supervision," the statement said.

The Southern Ukrainian Defence Forces added that people in cars and on foot were heading home at the end of the day and became victims of a treacherous double strike.

As a result of the attack, a fire broke out at a damaged petrol station, and shops, warehouses, administrative buildings and private homes were damaged.
