Russia hits Kharkiv, suburbs with guided bombs, injuring 14
On September 2, the Russian army targeted Kharkiv and Ruska Lozova with guided aerial bombs, injuring 14 people
Kharkiv Mayor Ihor Terekhov and Oleh Syniehubov, the head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, reported the explosions.
Terekhov stated, “The enemy struck Ruska Lozova with a guided aerial bomb, causing damage to a private home. Preliminary reports indicate one casualty. Additionally, a Russian strike hit Kharkiv, with the impact occurring in the Kyivskyi district. As of 15:45, no injuries were reported from this attack, although a car was damaged.”
Later, Terekhov updated that four women were injured in the Kharkiv attack and are in moderate condition.
“Garages are on fire at one of the impact sites, windows in nearby buildings are shattered, and a heating main has been damaged,” Terekhov added. He also noted that a sports facility was hit during the shelling.
As of 16:15, the mayor reported that five people had been injured in the Kyivskyi district of Kharkiv due to the shelling.
According to information from Oleh Syniehubov, two Russian guided aerial bombs struck a garage cooperative near residential buildings in the Kyivskyi district, causing a fire but no injuries. Another strike hit a higher education institution, resulting in five people being injured.
As of 16:33, the number of injured in Kharkiv has risen to 7, Syniehubov reported. He stated that a 60-year-old woman and a 40-year-old man are in serious condition, while five other women are in moderate condition.
At 16:45, Mayor Ihor Terekhov updated that a private home in the Kyivskyi district of Kharkiv was damaged in the Russian attack, but there were no injuries.
As of 18:14, the mayor reported that the number of injured in Kharkiv has increased to 13.
