Russia fires month's arsenal of Kh-101 missiles during March 22 attack on Ukraine
Ivan Kyrychevskyi, military expert at Defence Express, says that Russia definitely has no problems with its missile stockpile
He said this on Espreso TV.
"On the one hand, we can say that today they fired a month's arsenal of Kh-101 missiles, but Russia used not only these missiles. The production rates for Iskanders were known - at least 30 ballistic missiles per month, and they were used today. For Kinzhals, the production rate is at least 10 missiles per month, and they were also used today. It is unlikely that the Russians are operating in a mode where they are firing everything they have, and nothing is being held up in the warehouses. They could have accumulated a certain amount of stock, so we should not go into the question of how many missiles they can have to continue the strikes," the military expert said.
According to him, Russia's main striking force today is the Shaheds, which, unfortunately, are produced much better and faster than they could be.
"In addition, let's pay attention to the fact that the Russians have Kalibrs in strategic reserve, although the missile carriers were withdrawn to the Black Sea today, but the enemy still keeps them. Russia also uses cruise missiles to a limited extent. So, unfortunately, Russians definitely have no problems with their missile stockpile," summarized Ivan Kyrychevskyi.
- On March 22, the Russian army attacked Ukraine with 151 air strikes. Ukrainian air defense destroyed 92 enemy targets.
