The Center head, Petro Andriushchenko, reported the information.

Andriushchenko noted that by the end of the week, redeployments were active in all directions.

“In the Zaporizhzhia direction, Russian units are advancing in organized columns of 10–15 vehicles. This indicates a centralized reinforcement of the grouping, likely to maintain defensive stability and compensate for current losses,” he wrote.

In the Novopavlivka direction, Russian troops are actively supplying timber for fortifications.

“Northern Donetsk remains the dominant area for redeployments. The movements primarily involve newly mobilized units after brief training in camps. Special attention is given to the extensive use of vehicles without tactical markings. This may indicate attempts to conceal the true scale of redeployments, as well as a lack of time or resources for proper marking. Overall, the front is ‘on the move’ again, clearly reflected in these movements,” the report stated.

Meanwhile, Andriushchenko shared that almost daily last week, damaged Russian equipment was transported from the Zaporizhzhia direction for repairs at the Mariupol Ilyich Metallurgical Plant.

  • On September 28, Andryushchenko noted that the level of desertion in the Russian army is very high, with troops often abandoning their posts while still armed.
