This was reported by Ukraine's National Resistance Center.
It is noted that Russia is forming the relevant register because 600 residents are returning to Mariupol for various reasons. In particular, the occupation forces fear that there are "agents" of the Ukrainian Defense Forces among them.
"We have another crime of the Russian Federation, when residents are not allowed to live in their hometown, which was previously destroyed by the Russian Armed Forces, because of the Kremlin's policy," the statement reads.
The resistance also adds that Russian citizens and people from Central Asia are being brought to the temporarily occupied city, and as a result, the demographic composition of the population is changing.
- On April 25, it was reported that in the temporarily occupied Mariupol, Russians are settling workers from the Russian Federation and Central Asia into apartments they have renovated. In this way, the Russians "pay" them for their labor.
