The Kyiv State Emergency Service and the Kyiv City Military Administration reported on the consequences of a Russian attack in the Solomianskyi district of the capital.

According to the rescuers, as of 5:12 a.m., the fire, which started as a result of a UAV attack, was extinguished on the second and third floors of a nine-story building over an area of 40 square meters. During the firefighting, 18 people were evacuated and 30 people were brought out into the fresh air. One person was rescued, nine were injured. The Military Administration added that the 11-year-old child who suffered from the attack has an acute stress reaction.

A fire also broke out in an 8-story administrative building. The fire was extinguished.

In total, 65 firefighters and 14 units of fire and rescue equipment were working at the scene in Kyiv in the morning.

Espreso correspondent Natalia Starepravo also visited the site of the drone crash.

Psychologists are working at the scene to help the residents. The medics are also setting up an aid headquarters near the damaged building.

In addition to the residential building, a kindergarten building was damaged in Solomianskyi district, the military administration added.

This is what the territory of the kindergarten looks like near the house that was hit by drone debris.

The air raid alert was announced in Kyiv and the region at 3:29 a.m. At the same time, the Kyiv Regional Military Administration reported that air defense was operating in the region.

Espreso correspondents later reported a large explosion in the capital. Within half an hour, several more explosions were heard in Kyiv.

Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko informed about the explosion in the Solomianskyi district of the capital, which was followed by a fire.

“All services are on their way to the scene. There is a fire in the same area as a result of the fall of drone debris,” he wrote.

According to the head of the capital, non-residential premises caught fire. A fire also broke out at another address in the same area.

Several more UAVs remained over the city. Air defense forces were working.

At 4:19 a.m., Klitschko said that a fire broke out in one of the apartments in a residential building in the Solomianskyi district. One victim was treated by medics on the spot. According to the Kyiv Military Administration, the fire broke out in apartments on several floors.

There were three more calls for medical assistance in the residential building, Klitschko added.

“Everyone was treated on the spot. In total, there are four victims,” he wrote at 4:32 a.m.

The fire broke out on the second and third floors. As of 4:42 a.m., five victims were already known. All of them were treated on the spot.

Later, Klitschko wrote that there were nine injured in the residential building in the Solomianskyi district where the drone debris hit. Among them is an 11-year-old girl.

The Kyiv City Military Administration said that at another address in the Solomianskyi district, a fire was reported in a multi-story administrative building due to a drone attack.

The fire in a residential building in the Solomianskyi district has been extinguished, rescue services are working on the scene, and medics are also on duty, the mayor said at 4:56 a.m. 18 people were evacuated from the building, the military administration added.

The all-clear signal in Kyiv was announced at 5:36 a.m. on Wednesday, October 30.

The Kyiv City Military Administration said it was the nineteenth air attack on Kyiv in October.

“Last night, Russian drones flew at the capital again. The air alert in Kyiv lasted more than 2 hours. Russian drones did not change their constant tactics - they flew towards the capital from different directions and at different altitudes. The enemy drones were detected and neutralized in time by air defense forces and means,” the military administration reported.

Also, in addition to the fall of debris on a multi-storey building, a fire broke out in an administrative building at another address in the area, and later a gas pressure reduction (station) was depressurized (it has been eliminated). The fire has been extinguished. There were no casualties, said Serhiy Popko, Head of the Kyiv City Military Administration.
