At 4 a.m., the head of the Kirovohrad Regional Military Administration, Andriy Raykovych, reported that air defense was operatingin the city of Kropyvnytskyi and Kropyvnytskyi district.
"Preliminary, there were no casualties. Do not ignore the air raid alert," he wrote.
At around 3:30 a.m., Suspilne reported the sound of explosions in the city. In the morning, Ukrenergo, Ukraine's state power company, reported damage to one of its substations.
"In the city of Kryvyi Rih, household and industrial consumers experience power outages," the statement said.
The head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration, Serhiy Lysak, reported that air defense downed three Russian drones in the Kryvyi Rih district. However, some of the drones managed to reach their targets.
"Several UAVs reached their targets, resulting in power outages affecting over 40,000 consumers, including two mines. Over 100 workers were stranded underground as a result. Some of them have been evacuated," said the head of the regional military administration.
Subsequently, Oleksandr Vilkul, the head of the Kryvyi Rih Defense Council, provided an update confirming that all 113 miners who were trapped underground in the mine have been successfully brought to the surface.
"All 113 miners are on the surface. I am grateful to the mine rescuers, the State Emergency Service, the administration and labor collectives of the Kryvyi Rih Iron Ore Plant and Arcelor Plant," Vilkul wrote.
The Air Force reported that the Russian army launched a total of 24 Shahed-136/131 attack drones from two directions - Primorsko-Akhtarsk and Chauda.
In total, the Air Force, in cooperation with the Ukrainian air defense, destroyed 11 Russia's UAVs within the Dnipropetrovsk, Kherson, Kirovohrad and Kharkiv regions.
"In addition, at least seven attack drones failed to reach their targets and were lost in the area," the military added.
