Russia attacks Ukraine with 8 drones at night: Ukrainian Air Force destroy all targets

On Monday night, January 22, Russian troops launched attack drones at Ukraine. Ukraine’s Air Force managed to destroy all 8 drones. At the same time, fragments of the downed drones fell on the territory of an enterprise in the Dnipropetrovsk region, causing a fire

The press center of the Ukrainian Armed Forces reported the information.

Russian forces launched 8 Shahed-136/131 attack UAVs from the Primorsko-Akhtarsk area, Russia, at night.

All 8 Shahed drones were destroyed by anti-aircraft missile units and mobile fire groups of the Air Force and the Defense Forces of Ukraine. 

The air defense system was operating within Mykolaiv, Kherson, Dnipropetrovsk and Kirovohrad regions.

According to Serhiy Lysak, head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration, 3 Shaheds were shot down by the region's defenders. 

Fragments of the drones fell onto the premises of an enterprise. A fire erupted and was subsequently extinguished by rescuers. The attack caused damage to the building, but no one was injured.
