Russia attacks Donetsk region: Evening and morning shelling results in casualties, including injured child
On the evening of May 21, the Russian army launched a missile attack on the village of Rih in the Donetsk region, injuring a child and killing his parents. The next day, the Russian Federation attacked Toretsk, resulting in another death

The Prosecutor General's Office reported the shelling on the evening of May 21.
Around 11:00 p.m., Russian troops hit the village of Rih with an Iskander missile. The strike targeted the yard of a private home where the family lived.
A 52-year-old man and his 46-year-old wife were killed in the attack. Their ten-year-old son suffered a mine-explosive injury. A 24-year-old neighbor was also injured in the explosion.
Additionally, the attack damaged three households and a gas pipeline.
In the morning, Vadym Filashkin, head of the Donetsk regional military administration, reported that the Russians had killed a 26-year-old man in the shelling of Toretsk.
- The Russian army also struck the center of Chuhuyiv in the Kharkiv region, injuring two people and damaging a kindergarten.
