Responsibility for Ukraine's victory lies not with U.S., but primarily with President of Ukraine
“If the United States stops helping, we will lose the war,” Volodymyr Zelenskyy says in an interview with FOX NEWS
I think it was a mistake to make such statements. Perhaps there was a desire to make the new U.S. administration feel responsible. But it's strange to promise to “rebuff Putin” in the Resilience Plan and then talk about losing on the same day.
The responsibility for victory lies not with the United States, but with Ukraine. And on the President of Ukraine, first and foremost.
You cannot absolve yourself of responsibility for the destruction of the country, even if you fought heroically. And you can't put it on other countries.
This does not mean that other countries are not responsible. They are — for the future of the world. The President of Ukraine and each of us as Ukrainians are responsible for the lives of our children, both today and in the future.
Therefore, victory depends on us. As well as the help from the United States and other countries, our resilience and ability to unite our allies.
You need to realize that the desire to run for office is a willingness to take responsibility for the nation, and voting is a willingness to share this responsibility with the person you vote for. But the greatest responsibility is to remain a citizen, no matter who you vote for and no matter where you are elected.
