Putin wants Ukrainian elections more than peace treaty

First. The topic of elections from the very beginning is an external demand and a gross interference in the internal affairs of Ukraine. The conversation about elections, as a condition, was started by Russia. The enemy does not need the result of the elections, but the process - as a wide space for sabotage. Various sabotages.

"Second. The state will enter the election campaign, but may not emerge from it. Both internal factors, and even more so enemy interference, will "tear apart" the country during the election campaign, burdened by war. We will not be able to put ourselves back together, literally."

Third. Elections cannot be held now, neither de jure nor de facto, if we are talking about elections, and not their imitation. 

This is a very generalized assessment of the situation, because there are hundreds of other nuances. External demands for elections should be unequivocally rejected now and the harmful discussion about it should not even begin.
