Putin 'giving shirt off his back' to forge strategic road for new eastern offensive — major general

Ukrainian Major General Serhii Kryvonos shared his opinions with Espreso TV.

"Putin is quite serious. Considering that he is now giving the shirt off his back to realize his intentions - to capture Kupiansk and Pokrovsk and then form a powerful rocade road from Kupiansk-Lyman-Bakhmut-Pokrovsk, which will allow him to create the potential for a further strategic offensive on other territories of Ukraine. This emphasizes that Putin is not going to stop, he seeks to advance further," stressed Kryvonos.

According to the major general, the Ukrainian Defense Forces are systematically destroying facilities of the oil and gas industrial complex and Russian enterprises that produce military products, and this limits Putin's capabilities, but for now, we are not able to stop everything.

"Enterprises are one thing, but the reserves that the Russians have accumulated are another. It is necessary to identify and destroy Russia's reserves by systematically striking the Russian railway. In addition, it must be understood that Putin still has human potential," added Kryvonos.

• Political scientist Vitaliy Kulyk said that large-scale financial expropriations could begin in Russia among Ukrainian "political migrants" and oligarchs. Money withdrawn from Ukraine is planned to be confiscated to finance the war and support military companies.
