Public trust in Zelenskyy grows by 5% in two months — KIIS survey
As of the first half of May 2025, 74% of respondents said they trusted Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, while 22% said they did not, according to a new KIIS survey

According to a KIIS survey, compared to the previous survey in March 2025, trust in the president has grown:
- The share of people who trust him rose from 69% to 74%.
- The share of those who don’t trust him dropped from 28% to 22%.
Across all regions of Ukraine, most people said they trust the president, with similar levels nationwide. The east stood out slightly, showing lower trust: 60% there said they trust Zelenskyy (compared to 75–77% in other regions), while 33% said they don’t (compared to 20–22% in other regions).
The poll was conducted from May 2 to 12, 2025, using computer-assisted telephone interviews. A total of 1,010 respondents participated.
Formally, under normal circumstances, the statistical error of such a sample (with a 0.95 probability and a design effect of 1.3) was as follows:
- 4.1% for indicators close to 50%,
- 3.5% for indicators close to 25%,
- 2.5% for indicators close to 10%,
- 1.8% for indicators close to 5%.
- As of March 2025, 67% of citizens expressed trust in Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
