Poland summoned a representative of the Russian embassy following a drone strike on a Polish-owned factory in the Ukrainian city of Vinnytsia, according to the Polish Foreign Ministry, European Pravda reported.
The summons took place on July 16, a day after Russian-launched Shahed drones struck the Barlinek Group facility, which produces flooring materials and operates as a civilian enterprise.
"The Ministry of Foreign Affairs informed the representative of the Russian embassy that the attack on the Barlinek factory in Vinnytsia — a Polish business engaged solely in civilian production — constitutes a violation of international law," the Polish MFA spokesperson said in a post on social media platform X.
- On Tuesday evening, July 15, the occupying Russian army launched attack drones on the Ukrainian territory injuring people in Kharkiv, Vinnytsia, and Kryvyi Rih.
