Ukrainian military rangers destroy Russian howitzer: video
Soldiers with Ukraine's 71st Separate Ranger Brigade have destroyed a Russian D-20 howitzer hitting Ukrainian positions
This is stated on the brigade's page, reports Espreso TV.
Military rangers destroyed a Russian D-20 howitzer, which had been troubling Ukrainian positions with its 152 mm caliber.
Reconnaissance located it in the tree thicket, after which FPV drones immediately launched and delivered several precise strikes, leaving the Russians no chance to recover the weapon.
What is known about 71 Separate Rangers Brigade
The 71st Separate Brigade was created immediately after the start of the large-scale Russian invasion.
Its first units went into combat two months later. Since then, the brigade's units have been crushing the enemy in Donetsk, Luhansk, Kharkiv and Zaporizhzhia regions. The slogan “Immitis” - ruthless - has been proved by the soldiers more than once. The chevrons - first with a boar, then with a Semargle - terrified the enemy, and there were cases when Russians abandoned their positions only after learning that a brigade of Jaegers was standing against them. Six months after its creation, the unit was transferred to the Airborne Assault Forces and its fighters fought in the hottest spots of the front. The 71st Brigade distinguished itself in the battles for Bakhmut, Chasiv Yar, Robotyne and Avdiivka.
Combat work of Ukrainian defenders
Recently, the soldiers of the 71st Brigade showed how they destroyed the Russian invaders using FPV drones. Before that, military jaegers from the 71st Brigade showed how they drove kamikaze drones into the “holes” of a Russian armored vehicle.
The same brigade's aerial reconnaissance discovered a mortar position of Russian troops and destroyed it with the help of FPV drones.
The soldiers of the 71st Separate Brigade say they do not give the Russian occupiers a moment's rest. Every day, precise FPV strikes destroy Russian dugouts, strongholds and firing positions, vehicles and equipment. In this way, the defense is nullifying the Russians' ability to conduct assault operations.
