Over past 24 hours, 160 clashes occur at front; Russia focuses on Pokrovsk direction – General Staff

Russians strikes on Ukraine

In the past day, 160 combat clashes were recorded.

The Russian forces launched two missile strikes using three missiles, 71 airstrikes with 122 guided aerial bombs, and over 4,500 attacks, including 140 from MLRS.

Airstrikes targeted areas including Lyptsi, Vovchansk, Borshchove, Hlyboke, Mali Prokhody, Senkivka, Kupyansk-Vuzlovyi, Starytsia, Kucherivka, and Podoly in the Kharkiv region, and Myrnohrad, Oleksandropil, Ivanivka, Krasnohorivka, Toretsk, Odradne, Verkhniokamianske, New York, and Novyi Komar in the Donetsk region.

Sadly, there are civilian casualties and injuries due to Russian attacks. High-rise and private residential buildings, infrastructure, and more were damaged or destroyed.

The Defense Forces' aviation, missile, and artillery units executed 12 strikes on Russian personnel concentrations and anti-aircraft defense systems. They also hit four artillery systems, two EW/radar stations, and one Pantsir-S1.

Frontline situation 

In the Kharkiv direction, there were 13 clashes near Hlyboke and Vovchansk.

In the Kupyansk direction, 18 attacks occurred in one day, with Ukrainian forces repelling assaults near Synkivka, Vilshana, Petropavlivka, Novoselivka, Pischane, Berestove, and Stelmakhivka.

In the Lyman direction, Russia attacked 16 times near Hrekivka, Makiivka, and Terny.

In the Siversk direction, Ukrainian defenders repelled 12 assaults near Bilohorivka, Rozdolivka, Verkhniokamianske, Spirne, and Vyimka.

In the Kramatorsk direction, there were 12 attacks in the areas of Hryhorivka, Chasiv Yar, Klishchiivka, and Andriivka.

In the Toretsk direction, Russia launched 13 attacks near Pivnichne, New York, and Toretsk.

In the Pokrovsk direction, Ukrainian defenders repelled 40 assaults in areas including Prohres, Vozdvyzhenka, Novooleksandrivka, Kalynove, Lozuvatske, Novoselivka Persha, and Yasnobrodivka. The greatest concentration of attacks was near Novooleksandrivka.

In the Kurakhove direction, Ukrainian Defense Forces repelled 16 Russian attacks near Krasnohorivka, Kostyantynivka, Karlivka, and Pobieda.

In the Vremivka direction, there were Russian 18 assaults on positions near Urozhaine, Vodiane, Makarivka, Velyka Novosilka, and Kostyantynivka.

In the Kherson direction, Russian attempts to dislodge Ukrainian Defense Forces from their positions on the bridgeheads failed, with two unsuccessful attacks near Mala Tokmachka and Kozachi Laheri.

In the Hulyaipole and Orikhiv directions, the operational situation remains unchanged.

No signs of Russian offensive groups forming on the Belarus border.

On the Chernihiv and Sumy borders, the Russian forces maintain a presence, shell populated areas from their territory, and increase mine and explosive barriers along the state border.

Ukrainian strikes 

Ukrainian soldiers continue to inflict significant losses on the occupying Russian forces, exhausting them along the entire line of battle. Yesterday, Russia lost 1,320 soldiers.
