He shared this on the United News telethon.
Yusov attributed the increase in surrender requests to the intensified Russian offensives at the front.
Ukrainian intelligence also notes many Russian soldiers voluntarily seeking to be captured by Ukraine.
"The number of appeals to the I Want to Live project from Russian invaders has really increased. Over 300 Russian soldiers have surrendered through this project," Yusov said.
Some soldiers expressed a desire not to be exchanged or even to join the Ukrainian Defense forces, according to the intelligence representative.
- In March, Vitaliy Matviyenko, spokesperson for the I Want to Live project, stated that they had received over 33,000 requests from Russian military personnel, with 50 to 100 requests daily.
