According to information received from South Korean intelligence sources, North Korea has sent additional forces to the Kursk region, where the fighting between Russia and Ukraine is ongoing.
The National Intelligence Service of South Korea (NIS) did not provide an official comment and did not respond to journalists' inquiries.
As previously reported, North Korea has sent more than 11,000 troops to Russia to participate in the war in Ukraine. Ukraine and Western experts also claim that Russian troops also used North Korean weapons.
The DPRK has not officially recognized its military support for Russia in the war against Ukraine.
