Ryzhenko made these remarks during an interview on Espreso TV.
"Our Sea Baby sea drone can carry over 1 ton of explosives, making it ideal for attacking the Crimean Bridge. The Magura drone is specifically designed to target surface vessels, including those of the Russian Black Sea Fleet," Ryzhenko explained.
According to Ryzhenko, destroying the Crimean Bridge would require dozens of tons of explosives.
"I believe Storm Shadow and ATACMS missiles could disable the Crimean Bridge, depending on where they strike. It would take a substantial amount of explosives to completely demolish such a robust structure, possibly tens or even hundreds of tons," he added.
- On April 26, The New York Times reported Ukrainian forces' intention to use ATACMS long-range missiles to target the Russian presence in occupied Crimea more effectively.
- On April 27, Oleksandr Kovalenko, a military-political analyst from the "Information Resistance" group, suggested that Crimea's liberation would likely occur after Donetsk and Luhansk regions but before Zaporizhzhia or Kherson regions.
- Additionally, Bryan Clarke, a senior researcher at the Hudson Institute, outlined potential strategies for Ukraine to destroy the Crimean Bridge.
- On May 3, Oleksiy Hetman, a veteran of the Russian-Ukrainian war and reserve major of NGU, emphasized the significant political and military impact that an attack on the Crimean Bridge during Russian dictator Vladimir Putin's inauguration could have.
