More than 1,600 missiles, ammunition, and vehicles: UK announces new $626m aid package for Ukraine
On Saturday, May 11, the UK Ministry of Defence announced a $626.2 million military aid package to be sent to Ukraine

This is stated in the ministry's message on the social network X.
"The UK is delivering its largest ever military aid package to Ukraine," the ministry said.
In addition to the $626.2 million military aid package, the UK is also providing Ukraine with vital equipment:
- 4 million rounds of ammunition
- more than 1,600 missiles
- 400 vehicles, including 160 Husky vehicles.
On May 8, London announced an additional £20 million (€23 million) contribution to the Ukraine Energy Support Fund. The money will be disbursed in the near future.
In January 2024, Ukraine and the UK signed an agreement on security cooperation. British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak said that the new security agreement between the UK and Ukraine would serve as the basis for a partnership between the two countries that would last “100 years or more.”
