Over 160 clashes daily: Ukraine's General Staff reports on Russian attack hotspots

According to detailed reports, Russia launched 73 airstrikes yesterday on Ukrainian positions and populated areas, using a total of 94 guided aerial bombs. They also conducted 4,770 attacks, with over 190 from multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS).

Russian airstrikes were concentrated near Petropavlivka and Hlushkivka in the Kharkiv region; Druzhba, Vodiane, Novodonetske, and Oleksandropil in the Donetsk region; Kamianske and Lobkove in the Zaporizhzhia region; and Odradokamianka in the Kherson region.

Meanwhile, Ukraine’s Defense Forces responded with 11 air and artillery strikes on concentrations of Russian personnel and anti-aircraft systems. They also destroyed two Russian artillery systems and one anti-aircraft vehicle.

Frontline update

In the Kharkiv direction, Russian troops continued assaults, with five clashes near Vovchansk, Tykhe, and Starytsia.

In the Kupyansk direction, Ukrainian forces faced 15 skirmishes, successfully repelling Russian attacks near Synkivka, Stepova Novoselivka, Lozova, Stelmakhivka, Miasozharivka, and in the direction of Hlushkivka.

In the Lyman direction, Ukrainian troops repelled 12 Russian assaults near Nevske, Novosadove, Torske, Dibrova, and Cherneshchyna.

In the Siversk direction, Ukrainian Defense Forces held off 10 attacks around Spirne, Bilohorivka, Hryhorivka, and Verkhniokamyanske, where Russia attempted four separate assaults.

In the Kramatorsk direction, Ukrainian troops stopped ten Russian attempts to breach their defenses near Andriivka, Maiske, Chasiv Yar, Bila Hora, Predtechyne, and Klishchiivka.

In the Toretsk direction, with air support, Russian forces carried out 24 attacks, focusing on Pivnichne, Zalizne, New York, Toretsk, and Nelipivka, and also stormed near Druzhba.

In the Pokrovsk direction, Ukrainian defenders repelled 39 attacks, as Russia concentrated efforts around Zelene Pole, Vozdvyzhenka, Novotroitske, Hrodivka, Novohrodivka, Selydove, Marynivka, and Mykhailivka.

In the Kurakhove direction, Ukrainian troops continue to hold back Russian forces in Krasnohorivka, Dolynivka, Ukrainsk, Heorhiivka, and Kostiantynivka, with Russia attempting to break through 30 times in total.

In the Vremivka direction, Russian troops launched four assaults on Ukrainian positions toward Vodiane, all of which were unsuccessful.

In the Orikhiv direction, two clashes took place near Mala Tokmachka and Robotyne, with no success for Russian forces.

No signs of new Russian offensive groups forming have been observed along the Belarus border. The operational situation remains unchanged.

Along the border with the Chernihiv and Sumy regions, Russian forces maintain a military presence and have increased air activity. Strikes were carried out on Yampil, Bereza, Bachivsk, Kniazhychi, Kindrativka, Pervomaiske, Olyne, Sumy, Mykolaivka, Semenivka, Karpovychi, Uhly, and other border towns.
