The Global Enhanced GEOINT Delivery (GEGD) program provides access to commercial satellite imagery designated and collected by the U.S. government.
After the United States halted military aid and intelligence sharing with Ukraine, Maxar Technologies cut off access to its satellite imagery. Users of the satellite service were notified that access to Maxar's services had been terminated “due to an administrative request.” This restriction likely resulted from the decision by the U.S. presidential administration.
- On March 11, White House National Security Advisor Mike Waltz announced after talks with the Ukrainian delegation in Saudi Arabia that President Donald Trump had decided to lift the pause on military aid to Ukraine. Ukraine's Office of the President confirmed the resumption of U.S. military assistance.
