Massive Russian attack: Ukrainian air defense destroys 84 Russia’s air targets

On the night of March 29, the Russian occupation army launched 99 air targets at the territory of Ukraine. In return, Ukrainian soldiers destroyed 58 Shaheds and 26 missiles

This was reported by the Commander of the Ukrainian Air Force, Lieutenant General Mykola Oleshchuk.

It is noted that Russia used a total of 99 means of air attack, namely 60 Shahed-136/131 attack UAVs, 3 Kh-47M2 Kinzhal aerial ballistic missiles, 2 Iskander-M ballistic missiles, 9 Kh-59 guided missiles, 4 Iskander-K cruise missiles and 21 Kh-101 / Kh-555 cruise missiles.

As a result of the anti-aircraft combat, Ukrainian air defense destroyed 84 air targets:

• 58 Shahed-136/131 attack UAVs;
• 17 Kh-101/Kh-555 cruise missiles;
• 5 Kh-59 guided missiles;
• 4 Iskander-K cruise missiles.

"Anti-aircraft missile units of the Air Force and the Land Forces, mobile fire groups, and electronic warfare units of the Ukrainian Defense Forces were involved in repelling the missile attack," Oleshchuk added.

• In the evening of March 28, the Russian army launched several groups of Shahed drones and attacked Ukraine with cruise missiles and ballistic missiles in the morning of March 29.
