Lieutenant General Mykola Oleshchuk, the commander of the Air Force, reported.
He noted that the Russian enemy used a total of 34 air, ground and sea-based missiles:
9 Kh-101 / Kh-555 cruise missiles from Tu-95 MS strategic aviation aircraft,
9 Kh-59/kh-69 guided missiles,
2 S-300 anti-aircraft guided missiles,
2 Iskander-K cruise missiles,
4 Kh-47M2 Kinzhal aeroballistic missiles from MiG-31K aircraft,
8 Kalibr cruise missiles from the Black Sea.
“Fighter aircraft, anti-aircraft missile units of the Air Force, mobile firing groups and electronic warfare equipment of the Ukrainian Defense Forces were engaged to repel the enemy air attack,” Oleshchuk said.
According to him, 21 missiles were destroyed as a result of the air combat:
6 Kh-101/Kh-555 cruise missiles
8 Kh-59/kh-69 guided missiles,
1 Iskander-K cruise missile,
6 Kalibr cruise missiles.
In the evening and on the night of April 27, the Russian army launched missiles from strategic and tactical aircraft at the territory of Ukraine. The Russian forces attacked energy facilities in three regions and a hospital in Kharkiv, injuring at least 2 people.
