"Look at Bakhmut and Avdiivka": Baltic states’ defense against Russia will triumph but at a price, warns Kuleba

Ukrainian Foreign Affairs Minister Dmytro Kuleba asserts that, in the event of a Russian attack, the NATO-member Baltic states could be victorious. But, he predicts that their cities would face destruction akin to that seen in Bakhmut and Avdiivka

He stated it in an exclusive interview with Elta, Delfi reports

Kuleba states that the Baltic nations, part of NATO, would bravely defend against a more experienced and capable enemy if faced with an invasion by Russian President Vladimir Putin. He anticipates that NATO's decision-making process would require several days.

"In the end, I believe NATO will prevail. But look at Bakhmut, look at Avdiivka - this is the aftermath the Baltic countries may experience after intense conflict. Their cities will bear the scars; there will be no picturesque Vilnius," Kuleba emphasized.

The minister underscores that the most economical and secure means to avert such devastation is by supporting Ukrainians in resisting Russian aggression. He notes that Lithuania understands it and therefore actively supports Kyiv.

"Others pretend they can avoid it," Kuleba noted.
