Kyiv steps up security measures amid intensified Russian attacks

Kyiv's Defense Council has made urgent decisions amid intensified Russian attacks. The threat of infiltration by Russian reconnaissance and sabotage groups isn't ruled out

The Kyiv City Military Administration reported this.

The reason for the Defense Council meeting was the recent statements by Russian leaders about their intention to increase the number of missile attacks aimed at civilian targets and civilians in Ukraine and Kyiv in particular.

"This is confirmed by the latest missile strikes with the use of weapons with the shortest arrival time. In addition, the threat of attempts by enemy sabotage and reconnaissance groups to enter the city, involving agents of Russian special services and other hostile elements to destabilize the situation in the capital cannot be ruled out," the statement says.

The Kyiv Defense Council has made a decision:

"Social media will be monitored separately for the spread of disinformation, provocations and other information aimed at destabilizing the situation in the capital," the Kyiv City Military Administration added.
