Kyiv declaring Day of Mourning is Putin's response to Trump

Today, August 1, has been declared a Day of Mourning in Kyiv to honor the victims of yesterday’s Russian attack. As of midday, 31 people are confirmed dead, including five children, and search efforts are ongoing.
“We need a good, lasting peace,” Putin says on this very day.
Everyone was waiting to see how Putin would respond to Donald Trump’s ultimatum. Well — here is his answer.
