Iryna Tsybukh, paramedic of Hospitallers, dies in Kharkiv direction
On May 29, Iryna Tsybukh, a combat medic with the Hospitallers Paramedics volunteer battalion, was killed during a rotation in the Kharkiv direction
This information was shared on the Facebook page of the Hospitallers Paramedics battalion.
"Yesterday, during the rotation in the Kharkiv direction, our colleague, paramedic Iryna Tsybukh, lost her life. It was just a few days before her birthday," the message reads.
Outside of her military service, Iryna worked as a manager at Suspilne media and implemented educational projects in the Donetsk and Luhansk regions. Since 2015, she had been serving on the front lines as a military paramedic.
On February 25, 2022, Iryna returned to the Kyiv region and joined the Hospitallers Paramedics volunteer battalion, specializing in the medical evacuation of soldiers in hot spots along the front line.
"Iryna dedicated much of her time to discussing the topic of memorialization for military personnel. Now, it's our country's task to honor her memory," wrote her colleague Kateryna Halushka on the X social network.
According to IMI, Iryna Tsybukh is the 81st media worker to have died as a result of Russian aggression against Ukraine.
The battalion stated that details about the farewell for Iryna will be provided later.
- On April 25, Alla Pushkarchuk (Ruta), a soldier and journalist with "Tyzhden" and "Chytomo," also lost her life while serving at the front.
