If Ukraine surrenders Donbas, what territory is next?

The controlled part of the Donetsk region is our key fortified area, which Russia has been unable to capture during 4 years of the full-scale war

Today, the network of Donbas fortresses protects all of Ukraine. No similar defensive line exists behind them.

"To surrender our Eastern Wall without a fight means to find ourselves in an open field and inevitably roll back to Pavlohrad, Lozova, and Izium. With extremely poor prospects."

Surrendering territories to the enemy without a fight is a guaranteed deep political crisis within the country. The enemy desires this most of all – for us to fight each other, not them.

The moral, human, and legal aspects are beyond consideration.

Guarantees from respected partners – that's wonderful, only something reminds me that we already have excellent guarantees. We received them in Budapest in 1994.

And most importantly. In fact, one could limit oneself to this alone. Does anyone in their right mind actually believe that in a war with an enemy who directly declares the destruction of the Ukrainian state and nation as their goal – one can obtain peace in exchange for humiliation and surrender of territories?

How many days/weeks/months until a new enemy offensive begins? What will we give away then?
