Ukraine’s Defense Intelligence Directorate (HUR) reported the operation.
According to the statement, an explosion on June 26 damaged a stretch of railway on occupied territory in Zaporizhzhia, paralyzing traffic along a route heavily used by Russian forces for logistics. The disruption lasted more than a week.
Then, on July 1, Russian forces repaired the rails and resumed military transport. But shortly after, Ukrainian operatives once again disabled the enemy locomotive.
“One of the occupying army’s key logistical rail routes in the Zaporizhzhia region has been blocked again,” the intelligence emphasized.
- Ukrainian troops in the Donetsk area wiped out Russian drone operator positions with help from the local resistance movement.
