Bloomberg reported the information.
Szijjártó explained that Hungary has no access to the sea, so the country will not stop buying Russian oil.
“We are a landlocked nation. It would be great if we had access to the sea, we could build a refinery or an LNG terminal at the coast and we could tap the entire global market. But that’s not the case,” he said.
- On September 23 at the UN General Assembly, Trump announced his readiness to impose tariffs on Russia if it does not agree to end the war against Ukraine. He also noted that European countries continue to purchase Russian oil and gas.
