How does Putin plan to introduce UN administration in Ukraine?
If anyone thinks that Putin's statement about introducing UN governance is just the nonsense of a senile madman, they are mistaken. This is a full-fledged campaign, evidently developed by some of Russia’s sharpest minds
Spoiler: The idea is idiotic. But we must remember: once a plan is approved in Russia, it is carried out rather than discarded. That’s why this should be taken seriously.
So, in short. Peskov has decoded Putin’s speech from the day before yesterday. Here’s the full quote:
"Russia acknowledges the lack of control over the armed forces by Ukraine’s leadership. Ukraine has joined the moratorium on strikes against energy facilities and has given an order to the military, which is obviously not being followed."
Simply put, Russia’s idea is as follows:
- The illegitimate Ukrainian government does not control its army (which they call “Nazis”), who live in anarchy and blatantly disregard agreements, even those endorsed by Trump himself.
- Russia remains a peace-loving country that seeks to end the war, while Ukraine has no real authority, and its “Nazis” just want bloodshed.
- Ukraine is a terrorist state.
To reiterate, this is a dumb idea—even Iran wouldn’t buy it. But from now on and for some time ahead, this will be Russia’s main narrative. And it must be countered as well. Because one of the primary battlegrounds of this information war will be Ukraine.
