Hezbollah commander trains Russian UAV operators in Syria for war against Ukraine – Ukrainian intelligence
The Defence Intelligence of Ukraine (HUR) reports that Russian operators of Iranian-made UAVs are training at the Shayrat airfield in Syria
The HUR press service reported the information.
It noted that the training for Russian operators is conducted by the Lebanese Hezbollah Police and the Iranian Revolutionary Guard on the territory of the Syrian Shayrat military airfield.
According to Ukrainian intelligence, the Lebanese-Iranian-Russian training course involves mastering the Shahed-136 and Ababil-3 UAVs, as well as the Raad remote-controlled aircraft.
The military exercises are headed by one of Hezbollah's commanders, Kamal Abu Sadiq, who specializes in the manufacture and maintenance of drones.
In addition, mercenaries from Syria, whom Moscow plans to use as UAV operators in the war against Ukraine, are training alongside the Russians.

Also, the day before, the DIU reported that Russia was recruiting Syrian mercenaries to participate in hostilities against Ukraine. Moscow is recruiting Syrian men through travel agencies.
