Explosions reported in Sevastopol: Russians deploy helicopters and attack aircraft
Locals in temporarily occupied Sevastopol reported explosions on Monday morning, April 15. Russian forces deployed helicopters and Su-25 attack aircraft into the sky
The Crimean Wind Telegram channel provided the information.
"At around 07:50, several explosions were heard in the center of Sevastopol, as reported by our subscribers. While it may be part of a training exercise, accurate information is not yet available," the message reads.
Later, it was revealed that the occupiers had launched a smoke screen over Sevastopol Bay.
Ukrainian partisans also observed a group of 5 helicopters flying through the Dzhankoy district toward the Arabat Arrow. Additionally, two pairs of Su-25 attack aircraft were seen flying in the same direction.
Meanwhile, Aleksandr Dudinov, the so-called deputy head of the local administration, claimed that explosions heard in the Black Sea region were due to Ministry of Defense training, scheduled to last until 2:00 p.m.
