Ivan Tymochko, head of the Ground Forces Reserves Council of Ukraine’s Armed Forces, shared his opinions with Espreso TV.

“Poland's response should primarily be military. These need to be consolidated military decisions. Unfortunately, that won’t happen. Russia is raising the stakes. Right now, Russia is accusing Finland of allegedly preparing aggression against them. In other words, we are observing how Russia is testing Europe’s readiness to resist. I’m not talking about sending troops to help Ukraine. Today, in a few hours, we will see the reaction of the international community, and Europe in particular. Only after that will we be able to assess whether Europe is ready to consolidate and resist Russia,” Tymochko explained.

He noted that if Europe does not consolidate and there is no response to the attack, Russia will soon seek to cement its gains, including by continuing drone attacks on European countries.

“Of course, they can pretend that nothing happened. But if there is no adequate response to this attack, believe me, tomorrow or the day after, Russia will want to cement its gains. In other words, there will be new drone strikes on European countries,” he added.
