Russia sends wounded soldiers to assault amid heavy losses near Lyman - intelligence
Invading Russian army is trying to increase the pace of its offensive near the town of Lyman in the Donetsk region and, due to significant losses in personnel, has begun to send wounded soldiers to the assault
This was reported by the Defence Intelligence of the Russian Federation.
It is noted that in order to increase the pace of the offensive near Lyman, the Russians moved additional assault units of the 283rd and 488th motorised rifle regiments of the Russian Armed Forces to the area.
At the same time, the soldiers of the Security and Defence Forces of Ukraine inflicted serious losses on the newly recruited invaders, and some assault groups lost their combat capability.
According to Ukrainian intelligence, the demoralised Russian soldiers refuse to fight and complain about the lack of reliable shelters from Ukrainian drones.
"To continue the offensive, the command of the occupation forces uses methods of pressure, coercion and intimidation. Lightly wounded invaders are being thrown into meaty assaults," the intelligence said.
- Meanwhile, since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, the losses of the Russian army in personnel have already exceeded 690,000 people.
