Drones and artillery devastate Russian troops during rotation – military
Volodymyr Nazarenko, an artillery officer of Rubizh, 4th Brigade of the National Guard, noted that Russian forces are being decimated in the near rear
He said this on the air of the Espreso TV channel.
"Fighters of the 4th Brigade of the National Guard operate in the Donetsk and Luhansk regions. In these tense areas, Russian troops constantly engage, conducts active operations, and periodically try to advance and storm. However, the Russians fail in most attempts. Our fighters have well-coordinated units that repel assaults and inflict fire damage and losses on their troops," Nazarenko said.
According to him, UAV operators, artillery reconnaissance, and attack drones destroy enemy forces even during their logistical movements, accumulations, and rotations.
"Russian troops are going through hellish days, getting destroyed even in the near rear. This reduces their ability to take active actions, despite increasing their forces in the rear with more manpower, equipment, ammunition, and guns," he emphasized.
Nazarenko also mentioned that Russia is setting up many firearms and guns of various calibers in one direction.
"The Russians don’t mask them but bury them, making dugouts for guns so the barrel protrudes and the charging mechanisms are hidden. This poses a certain danger, but their activity is limited by counter-battery work and suppression of their guns. With good visibility and long daylight, work on them is actively underway," Nazarenko summarized.
