Drone Coalition partners invest €20 million in reconnaissance UAVs for Ukraine
Partner countries in the Drone Coalition have allocated €20 million from a joint fund to procure tactical reconnaissance unmanned aerial vehicles (ISR drones) for the Ukrainian Defense Forces

This was reported by Ukraine’s Ministry of Defense.
Kateryna Chernohorenko, Ukraine’s Deputy Minister of Defense for Digitalization, thanked the coalition partners for their swift response to the Ukrainian Armed Forces' urgent needs.
"With these drones, the military can conduct reconnaissance and improve situational awareness, which is crucial for successful combat operations," she said.
The new equipment is expected to be delivered within the next three months.
The Coalition is coordinated by Latvia and the United Kingdom. In addition, 15 other countries have joined the initiative: Australia, the Czech Republic, Denmark, France, Estonia, Italy, New Zealand, Canada, Lithuania, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Germany, and Sweden.
- Over the past year, the Drone Coalition initiative has secured more than €2 billion in aid from partner nations. The project was launched to supply Ukraine with drones and strengthen its defense industry.
