In Donetsk, local TikTok blogger Kirill Sirius has been accused of accidentally revealing the location of Russian military equipment near the Sigma supermarket (formerly Auchan), leading to the destruction of the equipment and a fire at the store

Ukrainian journalist Denys Kazanskyi reported this on Facebook.

The TikToker filmed a video inside the supermarket shortly before the strike, capturing Russian military vehicles — including an air defense system — in the parking lot. According to local sources, “he showed the air defense system, and soon after, the supermarket caught fire and burned down.”

Moreover, Sirius even mentioned the exact coordinates of the site: the 113–114 km mark of the H-20 highway (Mariupol–Sloviansk–Donetsk). After the target was destroyed, Russian forces launched a witch hunt for the culprit — not among their own occupiers, but among the blogger and Ukrainians.

Among those joining the harassment campaign was British propagandist Graham Phillips, who declared, “I’ll smash his face.” Locals mocked the situation: “A Brit came to insult a native Donbas resident — and the blogger accidentally helped the Ukrainians.”

  • On October 14, Petro Andriushchenko, head of the Center for the Study of Occupation, reported that the destroyed hypermarket in temporarily occupied Donetsk had been used by Russian forces as a shelter for military equipment and a storage site for military gear.
  • On October 13, Ukraine’s Special Operations Forces and the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) carried out drone strikes on an oil terminal in temporarily occupied Feodosia and on several power plants in Crimea.
