Direct negotiations with Russia not happening
Regarding the sensationalist materials in Western media about Ukraine war, which are quickly spreading online and being picked up by our Telegram channels
Do not take everything at face value. It’s time to let go of illusions. There are also personal opinions of the journalist, commissioned materials, and a desire to create sensationalism about a distant country out of nowhere, often citing fictitious sources.
For example, consider the Washington Post article about planned talks between Ukraine and Russia in Qatar. It claimed there would be a ceasefire on our part for their refineries, oil storage facilities, and industry, and on their part for our energy sector. According to the author, this was supposed to happen, but Ukraine went on the offensive in the Kursk region and failed the negotiations, citing secret sources. This is complete nonsense, especially coming from a journalist who has long been seen as sympathetic to Russia.
There are no direct negotiations at all. None of the specific frameworks that we and our partners have defined exist. Period.
It is unacceptable for us to halt strikes on their refineries and military enterprises. This is so clear that intelligent people stopped reading after this statement.
This is a primitive Russian fake news narrative claiming “Moscow wants peace, and Kyiv is disrupting the negotiations” and “The Kursk operation by the Ukrainian Armed Forces is not successful and generally very bad.” This is not the first or tenth time such fake news has been used to reduce support for Ukraine.
The “decision-making centers” rely on intelligence data, not this nonsense. So don’t be too gullible, even when it’s spread by our respected channels or less reputable sources. The former need traffic, even from such “sensations.” The latter either lack understanding or align with political interests. It’s simple.
