Ukraine's advance there poses great threat to Russia: military highlights Russia's top direction

Maksym Zhorin, deputy commander of the 3rd Assault Brigade, highlighted the direction that Russian troops prioritize and where the advance of the Ukrainian Armed Forces poses a significant threat to them

He shared the information on Telegram.

"Today, the Russian offensive prioritizes the eastern direction. It's crucial for them to halt our advance in the south. While they might tolerate setbacks in the east, any progress we make in the south poses a significant threat to them. Hence, they'll strive to push back the front line, expanding their land corridor. We must also remain vigilant regarding the threat along the border with Russia, particularly in the Kharkiv and Sumy regions," he wrote.

Maksym Zhorin also noted that Russian troops are using all possible methods to achieve their goal and are ready to put in any amount of manpower.

"The Russians are quite clear about their main efforts and keep pushing until they have some success. The Russian Federation has long been unafraid of any losses - if 50,000 dead were not enough, they will put more without any problems. Even to capture a small settlement. To achieve a certain goal, the enemy uses all possible resources, and it has enough of them," said Zhorin.
