Palianytsia missile-drone enters mass production - Ukraine's Defense Minister
This year, Ukraine has produced its first 100 missiles, including launching mass production of the Palianytsia missile-drone
Rustem Umerov, Ukraine's Minister of Defense, announced this in a column for the publication Livyi Bereh.
The Minister referred to President Volodymyr Zelenskyy's earlier statement, where he reported the production of the first 100 missiles this year.
"Private companies are achieving incredible results. For example, a new startup has successfully delivered the "Palianytsia" missile project, which is now in mass production thanks to the Ministry of Defense's support," Umerov stated.
He highlighted this success as a clear example of state and private sector collaboration to achieve shared goals.
Umerov also revealed that Ukraine has resumed and expanded mass production of R-360 cruise missiles from the "Neptune" complex. He noted that the updated missiles now boast extended range capabilities.
