Defense Express explains what Russian missiles Ukrainian air defense cannot shoot down
Valerii Riabykh, a military expert and development director of the media and consulting company Defense Express, said that Ukrainian air defense cannot shoot down ballistic targets
He said this on the Espreso TV channel.
"These statistics were announced today by the Ukrainian Air Force, and it is clear that we cannot shoot down ballistic targets. These include 12 S-300 anti-aircraft guided missiles, which most likely hit the energy infrastructure in cities near the contact line. The target of such missiles may be Kharkiv and facilities located in Kharkiv region, or facilities in Zaporizhzhia and Zaporizhzhia region," explained Riabykh.
According to the military expert, 6 Kh-47M2 Kinzhal aeroballistic missiles were not intercepted during today's attack.
"None of these missiles were shot down for known reasons. Because the Russian aggressors already understand where they can use these vicious missiles with impunity. And they aim them exactly at the places where, according to their estimates, there is no Patriot or SAMP/T. The Russians are taking advantage of our partners' inaction as Ukraine is calling on them to urgently transfer up to 7 Patriot systems, which are gathering dust while Russian missiles cause suffering and death to Ukrainians every day," Riabykh said.
