He spoke about this on Espreso TV.

"There are very scary words here - 'nuclear explosion simulator', but in fact it is a common training tool. The enemy uses this news in two ways. First of all, of course, for the purpose of informational influence that Russia is preparing for a nuclear confrontation. And secondly, that they are capable of producing such a device. It should be noted that everyone who studied at least in military schools during the Soviet era went through training using similar means. There is nothing big here," the military expert commented.

According to him, such a product is made on the basis of diesel fuel, kerosene, and phosphorus.

"The main goal is to simulate a nuclear explosion and its main factors, i.e. light radiation, shock wave and the formation of the so-called nuclear mushroom, which should be at least 1 km high so that it can be observed from a distance of up to 30 km. This simulation is done during drills to practice the actions of military in case nuclear weapons are used. The fact that they have now returned to an innovation that was invented a long time ago means that they had lost this technology that was in the Soviet Union, that those almost endless supplies had run out, so they decided to find the old drawings to make a new one," explained Valerii Riabykh.
